Armageddon Part 3

a

In Rev: 9th chapter the bottomless pit was opened which represent an army empowered by God to hurt men that did not have the seal of God in their forehead.

(Rev:9,3-6) v-3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. v-4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

v-5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. v-6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

During this period of time the Lord is using Satan, working through an army of men to impose hurt on those that had not the seal of God in their foreheads, tormenting them with agony and severe pain but not kill them. These people will want to die but death will hide it's face from them as the Lord continue to execute his plan to lead the armies of the earth to one place and destroy them all together. Jesus said at his return, he will come to judge and make war, take the armies of the earth by force and set up his Kingdom ruling the nations with a rod of iron.

(Rev:19-11) v-11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called

The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

(Rev14,9-10) v-9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, v-10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

In the 7th chapter of Revelation we saw the 4 winds held up, but now in v-14 of chapter: 9 the 4 winds are being loosed which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month and a year for to slay the third part of men (over 2 billion people). The 4 winds represent the gentile nations that are to rule the earth until their time be fulfilled.

The armies we read about in the next scriptures represent Russia and her allies which consist of 200,000,000 men. (Rev:9,14-21) v-14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

v-15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. v-16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. v-17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

v-18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. (The weapons John saw in his vision have been updated to the high powered weapons men use today for mass destruction.) v-19 For their power is in their mouth and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

v-20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: v-21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. There will be mass destruction as the armies of the east persue the armies of the west to war against each other to fulfill the prophecy spoken of by Daniel.

(Dan:11,36-45) Looking at the big picture we see the Lord executing his awesome strategy to lead these armies to one place, the valley of Megiddo where the battle of Armageddon will be fought and won by the Lord, his angels and a fresh batch of resurrected saints.

(Joel;2,1-17) we see some of the action leading to that great battle. In (Joel;3,9-15) The Lord is calling out all nations to the battle field and saying when you come be prepared for war. (Rev:16-12) The king of the east and his allies are on there way to the valley of Megiddo.

In (Daniel:11-44) The abomination of desolation and his alies turn in route to Megiddo after hearing tidings of the north and their destruction troubled them. Their thought is to put an end to these battles and become the world ruler. However, because they can't see what the Lord is doing they will fall into the trap prepared for them like a bear would fall to the bottom of a trap with wooden staves spiked at the end to rip him apart.

(Rev:19-11) Jesus is about to appear and in righteousness ready to gudge and make war. Who will he make war with. The Prophet Daniel told us.

(Dan:2,31-35) v-31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. v-32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, v-33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. v-34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

v-35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. Daniel finished by saying to the King; the dream is certain and the interpretation sure.

(Dan:2,40-45)  v-40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. v-41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

v-42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. v-43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

v-44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. v-45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

The ten toes represent the (European Economic Community) which presently have 9; the final one will soon join the alliance and complete the ten. These are the kings Daniel spoke about that will war against the Lord and his army. (Dan:2-44) v-44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Now the unexpected happens (Rev:19-11) v-11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

(Rev:19,17-21) v-17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; v-18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

v-19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. v-20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. v-21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

The battle of Armageddon finished just as Daniel said, the Lord and his army destroying the armies of the earth and establishing his kingdom which shall never be destroyed.
